At daŭre, we work with high-quality, low-impact materials for our jewels: lab-grown diamonds, certified recycled solid gold and sterling silver.
Our gold jewels are handcrafted in solid gold, never plated. Gold is the most noble metal and that can be endlessly reshaped without ever losing its quality. By reusing gold from pre-existing sources, we avoid new mining and create pieces that are both precious and sustainable.

Yes, lab diamonds are real diamonds, identical in chemical composition to mined diamonds. The only difference is their origin, as lab-grown diamonds are created using technology to replicate the natural diamond-growing process. They have the same physical and chemical properties as mined diamonds and are not fakes or cubic zirconias.

No, even experts need specialized equipment found only in gemological laboratories to distinguish between a mined diamond and a lab-grown diamond. The only way to distinguish them is through specialized laboratory equipment capable of analysing atomic structure.

From 2025, the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) introduces a new “Premium / Standard” classification for lab-grown diamonds, recognising their own category of excellence. At daŭre, we select only Premium-grade stones, chosen for their exceptional purity, brilliance, and perfect proportions. Each diamond is laboratory grown using the most advanced technology, ensuring flawless beauty and light performance. Upon request, an IGI (International Gemological Institute) report can be provided, detailing your diamond’s carat weight, cut, clarity, and full gemological grading.

Yes. IGI (International Gemological Institute) independently grades lab-grown diamonds according to the same strict standards used for mined stones. Each report authenticates your diamond’s carat weight, cut, clarity, and colour, ensuring full transparency and traceability. Every IGI-certified diamond carries a unique identification number laser-engraved on its girdle — a discreet mark of authenticity and precision.

An IGI certificate — issued by the International Gemological Institute — is an independent report that authenticates a diamond’s quality and characteristics (carat weight, cut, clarity, and colour) based on strict international standards. Each IGI certificate is unique to your diamond and includes an identification number laser inscribed on the diamond. Upon request, we can provide an International Gemological Institute (IGI) report for your lab-grown diamond, detailing its full gemological grading.

Yes, small lab-grown diamonds are typically 30% to 50% more affordable than mined diamonds, offering the same quality and brilliance. Larger carat stones often show an even greater price difference. This difference reflects a more efficient and ethical production process and makes them a cost-effective and sustainable choice for fine jewelry.

We use 100% recycled gold, sourced from old jewelry and obsolete electronic components.

Recycled gold is not cheaper, as the price of gold is set based on market value. However, jewelry made from recycled gold is a powerful choice for the planet because it reduces the demand for new gold mining, which often harms ecosystems. Additionally, recycling gold minimizes waste and energy consumption, promoting a more sustainable and eco-friendly industry.

-18k gold contains 75% pure gold, giving it a richer colour and a luxurious, timeless glow, the signature of fine jewellery.
-14k gold, made with 58.5% pure gold, is slightly harder and more resistant, ideal for pieces designed for everyday wear.
Both alloys are durable, beautiful, and crafted at daŭre in solid recycled gold, made to last for generations.

No. Our jewellery is never plated: our gold pieces are made in solid 18k or 14k recycled gold, and our silver pieces in solid sterling silver.

Of course, our workshops can engrave your jewelry, as long as the message you wish to engrave fits within the available space. Engraving is free for engagement rings, for all others, a fixed fee of 25 euros will be charged. Please be aware that personalized products cannot be returned.

We use cultured freshwater pearls, chosen in the same spirit as our lab-grown diamonds. In our Perlo collection, they meet lab-grown diamonds and recycled gold.

Yes. A cultured freshwater pearl is grown by a living mussel, layer after layer of nacre. It is a real pearl, not an imitation made of glass or plastic.

Our pearls are cultivated in Zhuji, China, in old rice fields turned into lakes. Our partner there is a family who has grown pearls for generations.

Unlike sea pearls, each freshwater mussel yields several pearls. The mussel is never sacrificed at harvest, and its environment is never depleted.

Freshwater pearls are naturally irregular. Each one has its own shape, glow and character. No two are alike, which makes every piece unique.

Pearls are delicate. Put them on last, after perfume, make-up and hairspray. Wipe them gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Store them on their own, in their pouch, away from harder jewels that could scratch them.

No. Unlike our solid gold pieces, pearls should be removed before showering, swimming or sport. Water, chlorine and chemicals can dull their natural lustre.

We have created a ring sizer that you can print.

1/ Measure with a ruler the scale to ensure that you printer prints the document in a 100% size scale.
2/ Place a ring that fits your finger on the paper and identify which circle corresponds the best to the inner diameter of your ring.

Due to their distinctive design, most of our rings cannot be easily resized. Remaking the entire piece is often necessary, which involves additional costs and shipping fees (excluding engagement rings). Please email us at info@daure.com with your order number and resizing instructions, and we’ll provide a quote and arrange the return for resizing.

The length of each necklace is indicated on its product page. We can also customize the length for you, simply email us at info@daure.com with your preference before placing your order and we will provide a quote for the additional length.

Our daŭre experts select the most beautiful stones for you. Due to the unique nature of each diamond, the carat may not always be an exact round number and can vary slightly from the carat indicated on the product description on our website. Rest assured, you will always receive a stone carat to your advantage. For example, you might receive a 1.2 carat diamond instead of 1 carat, or 2.7 carats instead of 2.5 carats for the same price indicated.

Of course. You can email us at info@daure.com to receive videos and visuals of different stones selected for you. We can also schedule a call for a live diamond showcase, or book an appointment at our showroom in Ixelles, Belgium to view them in person.

We cannot accept returns or accept returns or refunds for rings, bespoke and customized jewelry pieces as they are crafted specifically for you. However, we can make adjustments to your engagement ring for a small fee and offer free resizing.

Rings typically take 6 weeks after the order is placed. For urgent requests, please email us at info@daure.com.

If your ring is damaged due to manufacturing, we will repair or replace it without question. For damage occurring after two years, we will be happy to help it, and you will be charged the cost of repair plus shipping.

We can change your order as long as it hasn't started production. Generally, our artisans start making your jewellery within 3 days of your online order. Contact us at info@daure.com with your order number as soon as possible.

We are committed to doing our utmost to deliver your order within a reasonable timeframe. To preserve resources and avoid overproduction, we work with a limited stock most of our pieces are crafted to order. As a result, delivery times may vary depending on product availability and your delivery address.
- For jewels listed as in stock, delivery usually takes place within 6 business days.
- For made-to-order pieces, each jewel is handcrafted in our ateliers especially for you. Please allow up to 6 weeks for artisanal production and secure worldwide

Yes, we require a signature to ensure your jewelry arrives safely. If a purchaser refuses delivery when the carrier is attempting delivery or if orders are not picked up by the purchaser at a local Pick Up Point, they will be returned to our warehouse. In these cases, we will charge you for the cost of reshipping.

We accept all secure payments, including PayPal, American Express, and debit cards. Payment is charged once your order has been processed.

daŭre offers complimentary worldwide shipping on all orders.

There are no customs duties within the European Union. For international deliveries, the sales price is the price before taxes. The buyer must pay any additional taxes and charges which may apply to enter the territory.

We want you to love your purchase - but if it’s not quite right, no worries ! You have 14 days from the delivery date to send your item back for a refund or exchange, for items marked as “returnable” or “in stock on our website. Just drop us a quick email at info@daure.com to get your return authorization number and instructions. If you’d like an exchange instead of a refund, just mention it in your message. Make sure to follow the return instructions carefully so everything goes smoothly. And the good news is return shipping is on us.

Once we have received and processed your return, we will inform you that your refund is being issued. Please allow 5-10 business days for the processing of your return.

The easiest way to clean your daŭre jewellery at home is to fill a bowl with 2 cups of warm water and several drops of mild dish detergent. Soak your jewelry in the solution for 15 minutes. Scrub the gold jewelry with a soft baby toothbrush or a cotton swab, then rinse it with water.

No, because at daŭre, we specifically use 18k or 14K solid gold to provide our clients with high-quality pieces of jewelry that resist time and can be passed on to generations. Wear your jewels every day and enjoy them, but be mindful that life is susceptible to dings and scratches. Be cautious with your gold rings, watches, and bracelets and remove them while intense, sporting or hazardous activities.

Absolutely ! Our solid gold pieces are designed for everyday wear, including showering, swimming, sleeping, and working out. They won't tarnish or lose their shine, so you can wear them 24/7 without worry.

All creations are meticulously handmade with deep respect for tradition by master artisans in our Antwerp atelier. For every daŭre creation, you receive a 2-years warranty for any manufacturing defects. Our warranty does not cover:
- Scratches from normal wear.
- General wear and tear or damage from improper use or storage.
- Loss and accidental damage.
- Loss of stones larger than 0.15ct
